A 'good day' at school, according to Mr. Swider is characterized by a “balance of learning and enjoyment”. He believes that learning and fun are not mutually exclusive and strives to create an environment where students can engage in meaningful learning experiences while also having fun.
As students transition to eighth grade, Mr. Swider emphasizes opportunities for leadership and responsibility, preparing them for the challenges of high school and beyond. Through hands-on activities in Science, such as building volcanoes and conducting dissections, and real-world scenarios in Math, students develop critical thinking skills and make connections between the curriculum and everyday life.
